Our BEAUTIFUL pepeha display

At the start of term 1, students in Room 9 wrote their individual pepeha.

They then they wrote their pepeha on a template carefully using vivid. After, they dyed each section a different colour.

Finally, they attached their photo at the bottom.

Students also designed 2 feathers each which were attached to create our class korowai art in the centre.

Ka pai Room 9!

I have learnt so much about who you are, who your whānau are and where you are from.

Creating our own Pepeha

This week Room 9 have been working on creating their own pepeha.

Students used a template to help them to write their pepeha and then wrote it up neatly on A4 paper. They used vivid to go over their writing and then used dye to colour each section.

At the bottom of their pepeha, each student will add a picture of themselves.

Pepeha presentations

On Wednesday, five students from each class presented their pepeha to the whole school. Each presenter had a student introducing them and thanking them. All students spoke confidently and clearly. Well done Room 9 and all other class who presented!
