Matariki Star Art
Here are some finished Matariki star art! Students worked hard to design their stars, then glued them to a painted black background.
After, they used white paint to do smaller stars.

Our Wonderful Support Staff
Our lovely support staff surprised us today by putting on a BIG morning tea for all use teachers. They even got everyone a present each. Thank you so much for the lovely surprise ❤️

How to solve the perimeter of a shape

Back to NORMAL
FINALLY! We are at alert level one! Room 9 students are SO excited to have their floor space again in class and have much more space!
Thank you Room 9 for being an awesome class and working hard during alert level 2 to be safe at school.
Winter Snowflake Art
We love art in Room 9!
We started off by creating a blue textured background using blue and white paint.
Then students drew snowflakes in each sections using pencil. After, they painted over the top with white paint and sprinkled with silver glitter.

Te Reo Colours
Today Room 9 are working on the te reo names for different colours! They will be creating their own presentations showing the te reo and english translation.
New Maori Bilingual Unit
Glenbrae School has officially opened its new Maori Bilingual Unit!
The students were lucky enough to have some delicious fry bread made by Mrs Card and some brownie made by Whaea Sangita after the opening!
