Life Caravan

In week 10, term 3, we had Life Caravan come to our school. 

Harold the giraffe taught us lots of important things about social situations and how be hygienic.

Thank you Life Caravan for coming to teach us, we learnt lots!

Kiwican Prize

Room 9 won Kiwican points Term 3!

Kiwican had a cake decorating competition organised for the students. Each student was put into a group of 5, and then they had 20 minutes to decorate their cake.

They had lots of yummy ingredients such as cream, chocolate, grapes, banana, caramel sauce etc.

After they had decorated their cakes, the Kiwican teachers and I voted for the best one.

The students had lots of fun! Thank you Kiwican.

SKIDS Feed The Whanau

Thanks once again SKIDS for the awesome Feed the Whanau programme you provided for Room 9!

We loved eating all the yummy pasta we cooked.

Spring Art

For Art this week, students have been creating their own flower garden art pieces. They sketched it out first inside the template, then went over it with vivid. Once that was done, they used different colour dyes to dye their picture!

Glenbrae Kids

Thank you Glenbrae Kids for having Room 9 yesterday! We had lots of fun playing with the little ones in your wonderful adventure playground!

We can't wait to come for another visit!

Ngatu

For Tongan Language week, students learnt about Ngatu. They then sketched out their design and once completed their sketching, they painted over it with dye.

I can't wait to display their wonderful art pieces!
